A fortnight of mixed emotions for MSL members…

Terry and Debbie’s 20th anniversary at the Princess of Wales (11’ – 13’Nov’05) took off well with 16 bikes & riders plus friends and family enjoying a very good Saturday afternoon and even more taking part in the evening’s celebrations.

Well done! Terry and Debbie and a toast to the next 20 years.

And then there was the Bowling match (MSL vs Surrey, 15’Nov’05) … I am just glad that I couldn’t make it that night.

Congratulations to Surrey though. I am sure you won’t let us forget your victory for the next 12 months. ;-)

Up-Coming Events:

25’Nov’05, Club Anniversary Party

MSL Dinner & Dance @ “Bridge House Hotel”, “Lanni’s Restaurant”.

03’Dec’05, Autojumble

Kempton Park autojumble.

A top-class event for the desperate old-bike-enthusiast on the look-out for that replacement pushrod, the fancy new carburettor or just a little chit-chat with old mates.

04’Dec’05, Deen City Farm Run

This is a charity run to support Deen City Farm.

Meet at Ryka’s at 11:00 a.m. for a pleasant winter run through the Surrey countryside to Deen City Farm in Morden. I understand that some members are planning to retire to the Princess of Wales afterwards.

04’Dec’05, Club Regalia Night

to purchase that neat little stocking-filler or the new outfit for our Club Runs…

26’Dec’05, Boxing-Day Run

The committee is planning a boxing day run this year, possibly to the Mucky Duck or the Blue Ship in Rudgwick, Sussex.

For details please refer to notice board closer to the date.

Miscellaneous: Please, provide the editor with plenty of input to fill this section in future editions.

John F. is organising another trip to the MANX next year (week commencing 26/08/2006). If you would like to go, please get in touch with him as soon as possible, as places go quickly…

For those of you already fed up with the never-ending run of Christmas parties at this time of year, why not go to a real bash? Bob is kindly inviting Club members (and partners) to his birthday party on 17’Dec’05 from 8.00 p.m.

Please let him know by Tuesday 13’Dec’05 if you are going (Tel. 020 8669 0921).

I understand that bottles (of the wines & spirits kind) would be most welcome on the night.
