Overall, the trip to the Nul-Vet-Treffen in Holland was good fun. Although two bikes and owners didn’t quite make it across and despite the fact that those who made it had to endure long stretches of Belgian seaside resort the welcome at the Dutch campsite was definitely worth it. I believe we all enjoyed the run organised for Saturday afternoon and the two bands were brilliant as well. Okay, there was the odd spell of rain and yes, some of us took a slightly later ferry than originally planned, but hey, these things just add to the flavour of the biker stories to be told by the log fire in long winter nights… Apart from us “almost getting lost” following a road closure in rural Surrey the Club Run to the “Skimmington Castle” went very well. Attendance was good – especially bearing in mind that a lot of the participants had only just returned from Holland – and nobody dared leaving his / her corner. It turned out that landlady & staff at the “Skimmington Castle” were organising a fundraising event for a Multiple Sclerosis charity and Malcolm put in £50 on behalf of the Club. I understand that a fair number of us are going to the T-days in Belgium this year. Have a safe trip and a good time and bring back plenty of tales from abroad for the next Thunderbird Times issue.

05’Jul’05, MSL Bike Show	Starting 8.00pm at the “Princess of Wales”. There will be prizes to be won for the bikes (Meridens & Hinckleys), a raffle and Andy will treat us with a beef roast and BBQ. In addition, the Club Awards (formerly presented at the AGM) will be presented at the Bike Show from now on.

Robin had his other hip done. We wish him a good recovery and hope to see him back at the Club soon. For those of you who do not feel up for Bob’s run to Horam, the 12’Jun’05 is also Triumph Day at the Ace Café.
Season’05	We are planning to have a Club run every second Sunday of the month. Bob will take us on a run to a biker’s meet in Horam / East Sussex in June (see front page). We are still looking for ideas and runs leaders for July, August and September. Please contact a member of the committee as soon as possible if you have an idea.

We are the founder branch of the TOMCC, founded in 1949 by a group of Triumph motorcycle enthusiasts in the South London area. To this day we hold regular meets and organise and participate in a wide range of activities such as runs (local, national and international) and country shows. And most importantly we enjoy our bikes in the company of like-minded people.
