Hi everyone. December news as follows:

8.12 Christmas D/Dance – What a fantastic evening this turned out to be. Most members seemed to agree that the food and service was excellent and DJ created a good atmosphere, but isn’t it amazing how a few toys on the table breed hooligans -you know the sort of thing - balloons in your soup – we know who they were yes all of us!!!.

Babe magnet Jim managed to dance the last part of the evening away with a couple of ladies who were with the Nurses table - Jim/Mog would know most of them wouldn’t they!!

Bob did receive some favourable feedback so you never know he may book us in for next year. Thanks Bob for finding this new venue – it was great.

9.12 Deen City Farm (Charity Run) – Twelve bikes turned up plus Mog and Mac by car to support the Farm’s Fund Raising day. There were not so many riders as last year but Doddie was pleased with the turnout as the day was dismal and damp – MSL donated £300 to the Charity and as our Pub was booked for a large function we had refreshments at the farm.

PS: Tim – get up earlier next time!!

1 January 2008	New Year’s Day run to The Surrey Oaks, Newdigate. Meet 11 am at Ryka’s.
12 January 2008 27 January 2008	Rock & Roll Night/Buffet at The Princess of Wales 8 pm – music supplied by Glenda (The Big Bounce). “TALMAG” pre- 65 Trial at Hungry Hill. Meet runs leader Gerry at 9 am - Tolworth Bowl.

10 February 2008 – Bristol Classic MCC Show, Shepton Mallet

24 February 2008 – Sammy Miller’s Museum run

We will book a coach for these two events if there are enough numbers. There will be a list on the Notice Board if you are interested.

Mog has a copy of the Hughie Hancox video for rebuilding 650 Unit engines if anybody wishes to borrow it. He also has the Purple Helmets Display Team video for free!!

Ian (Rocket 3) is organising a long weekend run to Wales in May. He will arrange accommodation. Further details to follow.

Congratulations to Mac who is a proud Granddad for the second time to baby Evie born on 17 December weighting in at 7.5 pounds.
